BTS' Suga (real name Min Yoongi) will donate 5 billion won to Severance Hospital to establish the 'Min Yoongi Treatment Center' to help children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder receive treatment and become socially independent.
Severance Hospital announced on the 23rd that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center on the first floor of the hospital's Jejungwan building.
From March to June of this year, Suga spent weekends meeting with children with autism spectrum disorder and participated in program development. He played instruments like the guitar, helping the children find rhythm and harmony, interact with music, and expand their emotional expression. He also taught the children how to play instruments.
Donations are great, but they've also been consistently helping with treatment, and they're actually effective. I think that's really great.
Fans also continued to make relay donations.
It's a good virtuous cycle.
