I will be your season

Chapter 1. The Beginning of Coincidence

"Minju, can you help me with my part-time job at the broadcasting station today?"

It was a sudden request from Jisoo.
Minju was about to go to the library after finishing her liberal arts class.

"Today? Why all of a sudden?"
"I suddenly had something come up at home so I can't go. Just deliver the lunch boxes to the cast members' waiting room! Please~"

Minju hesitated for a moment, but she couldn't ignore her friend's request.

"Okay. Send me the address."

That's how the broadcasting station got its first start.
It was more crowded than I thought. Perhaps because of the rumor that a popular idol would be appearing, fans were gathered outside in groups of three or four.

"Are you Minju? Come over here and help me pack my lunch."

Minju was moving busily under the guidance of the staff.
As I went out into the hallway to move my luggage, I bumped into someone head-on.

"Oh, I'm sorry!"

Minju raised her head quickly.
At that moment, a man wearing a mask and a hat met my eyes.

Clear eyes.
Familiar facial features.
… It was a face I had seen somewhere.

"Are you okay?"
“Yes… I’m more sorry.”

He bowed his head briefly and picked up Minju's dropped notepad.
Minju took it by surprise and looked at him frozen.

The staff's whispers that I could hear beyond his back as he absentmindedly walked away rang in my ears.

"Hey, wasn't that Junho just now?"
"That's right, LUMEN leader Junho!"

Only then did Minju realize.
The man I just bumped into — it was Junho, the leader of the national idol group LUMEN .

"…oh my god."

My heart started beating fast for no reason.

That evening, when Minju returned home, that moment kept coming back to her mind.
Eyes that smiled gently.
A quiet voice.
And... the hand that personally picked up his own notepad.

Minju quietly opened her laptop.
I rewrote a short sentence that I had written down without thinking.

'I will become your season.'

Somehow, today that sentence had a slightly different meaning.
